Vampires are obviously better because in the Twilight series, Bella picks Edward over Jacob (jacob is a werewolf) so clearly, vampires are better. (you better know that Edward is a vampire!!!!)
I am sorry I did not know that Edward was a vampire or is a vampire or even if Edward is dead or alive or dying or anything about him or the books my sincerest apologies.
LuLz!
CULLENS are not vampires… They are sparklepires…
So therefore, that's not a fair arguement. And plus, Bella is a moron. Why does it matter what she picks?
Bella IS quite moronic, actually… I've been reading a few reviews about her, and even some Twilight fans would agree as well. See, Bella is what you would call, well, a bit desperate, to say the least. It's weird enough she loves an undead, thousand-year old man, but she always seems to be dragged along by Edward and she just seems like this arrogant little kid who wants to tag along on everything - Like watching a mystery/crime movie with an 8-year old kid.
But… Going back on topic a bit, I think the movie Underworld demostrates some good Vampire vs. Werewolf action too. Also, Wolverine is quite wolf-like - I think he's a fair representation of a werewolf-variant, correct? :)

As this title suggests why did you bother?
I say you as I am not involving myself in this…
It is my opinion that whoever wins, in this seemingly eternal battle between vampires and werewolves… we will lose.
I just thought I'd say that before you start supporting one team over the other.
I'll be here till Thursday. till then, see you at the apocalypse.
Ah, but you have missed a key factor there, MachoTomato. You see, neither of these creatures are "immortals" as they have been defined in the fictional Twilight series. A vampire is afraid of the sun, must live off of HUMAN blood and has to remain in the dark. Likewise, a werewolf only needs to survive on flesh of any kind, and must also remain in darkness. Both of these monsters have their disadvantages, but should one outsmart the other, the race will perish. According to "myth", and I don't use those quotes lightly, people have claimed that both these fictional characters are simply portrayals of demons… From hell. (Yes, the ugly, bad, and the place you don't really ever want to visit.)
Anyways, what if we threw unicorns into this battle?
… Actually, never mind, scrap that. They'd wipe out the vampire and werewolf species too quickly.

I didn't say they weren't immortal. I am fully aware of their mythical capabilities and limitations. However so long as one remains there will be more. Likewise so long as one of us continues this debate, the more likely one of us will get royally ticked off.
And this time I won't coment again.
Here are a few "I don'ts":
I don't see why you replied to my post in the first place.
I don't see how one of us can be "royally ticked off", seeing as the debate has already tinkered to a winning side. (Unless of course, more people contribute their opinions.)
I don't think you need to state if you're going to reply again or not.
I don't feel that this debate should need to go to rest, unless nobody posts within a large majority of days, on which I will declare the verdict.
I don't think WE are battling with mythical creatures, as described in your first post.
I don't think that there has been any recorded valid myth about vampires vs. werewolves - Therefore, you can't claim that the battle is eternal. Once again, referring to your first post.

I believe it's time to declare a verdict, since nobody has posted within quite a few days.
The winner?
The werewolves are victorious, due to a "negative" score for the vampires(/sparklepires)…
Though, there were not many valid arguments about werewolves either, so the winner was decided through the amount of negative points on the vampires' side.
